Seventh Tradition

SEVENTH TRADITION

CoDA’s Seventh Tradition states each meeting is fully self-supporting and declines outside contributions.  Home meeting groups are encouraged to donate reasonable excess funds (after the prudent reserve is satisfied) to their local CoDA Intergroup and/or to CoDA International.

Ways to donate to the Denver Intergroup –

  1. Bring cash to the next Denver Intergroup Meeting (link to our intergroup meetings page)

  2. Bring cash to the next Wednesday Free at Last Meeting in Lakewood (link to CoDA meetings)

  3. Contact Denver Intergroup Treasurer, Katie at katiedidaustin@gmail.com or 303-880-2539 to use Venmo

How are Denver Intergroup funds used?

The Denver Intergroup uses donations received in several ways:

  • Annual CoDA Picnic (link) expenses

  • Annual CoDA Dinner & Meeting expenses

  • Other CoDA Events as voted on through a group conscience

  • Financial Assistance to a home group in need, as voted on through a group conscience

  • Other, as voted on through a group conscience
